   Follow the UNIX philosophy.
   Choose an OS based on its ethos.

 3 Faith

   Read code.
   Use what's in `base' of your OS of choice.
   Compile extra software.
   Use default configurations.
   Adapt to the vision and work-flow of the `author'.
   Accept that you do not know better than them.
